SSNA
Aims and scope
South Sutton Neighbourhood Association (SSNA) was founded in 1978 in response to the threatened development of the Stowford plot at the junction of Devonshire Avenue and Brighton Road.
It exists to bring local residents to think and act together for the good of all the people of the neighbourhood.
We take a keen interest in matters affecting the local environment, planning, traffic and parking, and welfare provision.
To further this aim we publish and distribute regular newsletters to provide information on topics of interest or concern and to advertise activities and events.
SSNA covers the area bounded:
-
to the north by the railway line between Sutton and Carshalton Beeches
-
to the east by Banstead Road / Banstead Road South
-
to the south by Chiltern Road and
-
to the west by the railway line between Sutton and Belmont
